March Madness in Admissions

Hi Readers!

Thanks for checking in! March Madness around Siena's Admissions Office isn't just in reference to basketball.
Sure, we cheered on the Saints as they danced to Spokane, Washington. (Okay, we may have even left work early to watch the game).

But we're also in the middle of one of our busiest and most important phases of the admissions process.

Here's what we're up to:

1. The Class of 2014 is admitted! That means all of our decision letters are in the mail. Now it's time to convert our admitted students to confirmed students. We are hosting receptions off campus, Shadow Days on campus, making phone calls, sending e-mails, whatever it takes to gain those future Saints!

2. Financial Aid packages are on their way. Our FA staff is BUSY crafting packages for each and every student based on their individual circumstances. It's quite the job! Remember, they don't create packages for new students alone, but the whole student body! Yikes!

3. Spring is in the air! And so is the spring travel season! Our admissions counselors are hitting the road and visiting high schools to recruit... you guessed it, JUNIORS! We're also gearing up for a huge program on campus dedicated to giving juniors a jump-start on their college search. You can learn more about that here.

Phew! It's crazy over here - but we love it!
